We are actively sourcing an experienced Care Monitor Support Analyst to join our Digital & Technology (D&T) team at St Vincent's.
Reporting to the Patient & Clinical Applications Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration, efficient utilisation, and continuous optimisation of the Care Monitor application within St Vincent's.
You will be dedicated to enhancing home and community-based patient care through effective use of Care Monitor, enabling referrals/waitlist workflows, providing comprehensive training and support to St Vincent's staff, and serving as a liaison between clinical teams and the vendor development team.
This role can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and is available for immediate start on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
You will also participate in the Patient & Clinical Applications team on-call roster.
Key responsibilities: Leverage clinical expertise and technical proficiency to address user needs, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Care Monitor system.
Foster a collaborative and supportive environment of high-quality, patient-centred care while engaging in emerging technologies, best practices and continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Assist the wider D&T team to implement the new EMR (MEDITECH) and other projects as they relate to Patient & Clinical Applications.
Integrate Care Monitor with current and future healthcare systems and third-party platforms to enable seamless workflow, interoperability and data exchange.
Develop and execute change management strategies, testing and quality assurance practices and documentation and reporting as required.
Things that work for us: Proven experience working within an IT Applications Services department or similar team in a Saa S/Web-based systems environment.
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Project Management or relevant field and Certification in Health Informatics (CHIA) - desirable.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management within a healthcare or clinical setting, with knowledge of clinical standards and messaging formats (HL7), and integration related troubleshooting.
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of the team, showing initiative and generating ideas for continuous improvement and innovation.
Strong understanding of clinical workflows with excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a great attitude towards supporting and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders alike.
Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies, and experience with EMR, Kyra or Meditech and cloud-based application architectures - desirable.
Ability to support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
