ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Founded in 1980, Christian College Geelong is a K-12 school where academic achievement is balanced with care and concern for each student's character development and wellbeing, grounded in the Christian faith. We have five campuses across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast region as well as a rural experience for Year 9 students at an expansive farm property in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, and a unique Art, Technology and Design campus for Senior School students in Waurn Ponds.

THE ROLE
Commencement Term 1, 2025 A part-time ongoing role and negotiation of time fraction across two or three days with the successful candidate is possible Experience in Careers counseling is essential We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Career Practitioner to join our College Community. As a Career Practitioner working within the framework of Christian values and principles, you will play a critical role in supporting the career development of our students, supporting them to explore their interests and aspirations, and connecting them with life opportunities.
WHAT YOU BRING
Hold a recognised teaching qualification. A Graduate Certificate in Career Development or equivalent preferred Have a strong understanding of career development principles and practices Be able to work collaboratively with students, staff, and industry partners Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform career development programs and activities Proven experience establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff and parents/carers. An authentic commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of students. A commitment in your everyday practice to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people, always.
