About the role An opportunity has arisen in our Perth office for a Career Paralegal to join our Government team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Whilst the primary focus of the work is on NDIA and merits review matters, the team also handles claims for compensation in the Federal jurisdiction.
In this supportive and friendly team, you will play an integral part in assisting to progress matters, whilst receiving ongoing mentoring from a Partner, a Special Counsel, and the broader team members.
This busy role will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:
Collating briefs to CounselPreparation of court documentsPreparation of mediation bundles and document indexesPreparation of medical authorities and follow up of recordsLegal research and legal summariesDiscoveryDocument analysisCompilation of enclosuresDrafting letters of instructionResponding to enquiriesAbout you To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Paralegal who is looking for a long-term and stable position in a supportive and friendly environment.
Ideally, you will have experience in litigation and be excited at the prospect of taking a hands-on approach to assisting our lawyers in managing their matters.
