You will also bring specialised clinical capabilities to contribute to research opportunities within this field and cultivate a positive workplace culture.Senior Career Medical Officer Obs and GynaeTo be successful in this position, it is expected that you will have the following attributes:Relevant registration or be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Career Medical Officer or equivalentProven performance in both undergraduate and postgraduate general practice education is mandatory.Availability for occasional weekend and after-hours work.DutiesUnder limited direction of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical Unit Director, you will perform the following roles:Provide specialised Obstetrics and Gynaecology services within a multidisciplinary gynaecological oncology service.Teach and supervise Obstetrics and Gynaecology trainees and medical students.Liaise and collaborate with medical practitioners and relevant agencies.Participate in clinical governance and quality and safety activities.Contribute to educational and clinical research.Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification.Note: Career Medical Officer Positions are supervised by a Staff SpecialistThe Location:This unique CBD offers excellent work opportunities set amongst stunning bushland.
