About our Department:Specialist led inpatient consult liaison service in Manning Base Hospital including CNC2, CNS & Registrar.Community palliative care nursing led service providing support to the region including Manning Valley, Great Lakes, Gloucester, & Bulahdelah.Medical governance of Forster Private Hospital palliative care consult liaison service.Outpatient clinic potential.Strong links with the district wide Health Service and support networks statewide.Accreditation for Advanced Skilled Post (ACCRM/RACGP) and Diploma of Palliative Care (RACP).We have a well-established relationship with the University of Newcastle's Department of Rural Health and teach into Year 3-5 of the Joint Medical Program.
Appointment as a conjoint academic is encouraged (level commensurate with qualifications and experience).
