This care will be provided within the clinical privileges granted by the CE on the advice of the SWSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.Assist in the provision of Obstetrics & Gynaecology service at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals through medical management, clinical direction to, and care collaboration, with nursing & midwifery staff, as well as anaesthetics, paediatrics and other multidisciplinary teams.Provide high quality clinical services to the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department.Develop the skills and knowledge needed to operate independently as a senior clinician in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department through structured and supervised observation of, exposure to, and management of patients, as well as participation in O&G Department education and quality assurance activities.Where You'll Be WorkingBe a part of a healthcare provider which is responsive to the needs of its consumers and shape the future of the community in which you live! View our application guide for information on how to respond to criteria and improve your application.MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) and minimum 5 years postgraduate experience.Proficiency in airway management, advanced resuscitation skills and in central venous and arterial line insertion.Previous experience in the Intensive Care Department and wide range of medical experience, and in the assessment and management of Intensive Care patients.Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including relevant computer skills.Evidence of continuing professional development in Intensive Care Medicine (ie ALS, APLS, ELS course completion).Evidence of ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other staff and practitioners and in a multidisciplinary health care team.Additional InformationSalary Packaging: South Western Sydney Local Health District employees are able to enjoy the benefits of salary packing.
