As part of a multidisciplinary mental health service delivering high quality mental health care and, in accordance with Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies.
Carry out assessments, treatments and provide clinical care to individuals referred to the team in collaboration with other team members. This will include the application of a wide range of skills and interventions.Act as a medical and psychiatric resource for other team members.Seek appropriate clinical support and supervision from senior colleagues, the Statewide Specialty Director or Delegate.Promote and maintain close links with colleagues and service providers to ensure continuity of patient care. Liaise with other community service providers, especially GP's.Participate in medical student teaching and in-service training of staff.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.

Older Persons' MHS, providing for those with mental illness in the context of age-related frailty, mental illness and comorbid dementia, and BPSD.Is a multidisciplinary teamLocated in Launceston, providing service across Northern TasmaniaDetails of Appointment Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies. Salary: $125,000 - $200,000 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
