Reporting to the Lead Career Development Specialist, this role will help empower employees to maximise their potential, attaining the skills needed to progress.Specific responsibilities include:Guiding employees to achieve short-term promotions and long-term career objectivesMeeting regularly with consultants to discuss their progress and track their skills and competenciesProviding feedback on progress in regular review meetings with HRIdentifying where employees require additional support or trainingSupporting graduate recruitment and induction activitiesIdentifying and referring any project, employee or performance issuesSupporting employees through the Level 4 apprenticeship programme, helping to collate and produce evidence coursework required for assessmentSkills and attributes to include:Broad understanding of career developmentHighly computer literate with a good understanding of software developers or those with a technical mindsetProven experience holding regular one to one progress meetingsTrustworthy, credible and confident in communicating with peopleHR or Psychology qualifications preferableDorset Software has a friendly working environment, offering growth for employees to fulfil their potential.
