We are looking for Trainers, Facilitators, Coaches, and Mentors to deliver meaningful and purposeful employability skills training across the Hobart Employment Region.

About the roleAs an Employability Skills Trainer & Facilitator, you will deliver a targeted course designed to help a diverse range of individuals from all walks of life.
Supported by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, our programs assist Australians looking to enter or re-enter the workforce or transition into a new career.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the delivery of training to small groups of adult learners using the provided course structure and materials.Contextualize and tailor training to best suit the participant's learning needs.Effectively use technology in the workplace and coordinate administrative requirements.Deliver training and assessment in various environments including classroom, workplace, and online.Provide individual attention, support, and guidance to maximize every learner's chance of successful completion.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and processes.Liaise and work with Head Office.Assess participant competency levels and compile feedback reports.Selection CriteriaExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and engage with a diverse range of individuals.Experience delivering training as a teacher, coach, or mentor.Working with Children's Check and National Police Check clearance (essential).TAE40116 is desirable but not essential.Flexible and willing to travel and undertake training blocks on short notice.Ability to deliver training face-to-face, online, and in hybrid formats.Intermediate technology skills.Understanding of the local labour market.Depending on the role and region, the position will be casual or permanent.
Successful applicants must be available for Training Blocks that run on a 3 consecutive week schedule and be willing to travel to different sites.
