Key Responsibilities Permanent Full Time Role, Based at Keswick Excellent hourly rate for the right candidate + the Option to Salary Package up to $18,550 per annum Support vulnerable people to continue living their life, their way in the comfort & safety of their own home Short Description We are looking for a Care Team Leader to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting and mentoring direct care staff to provide quality care to clients and carers within the community.
You will report directly to the Community Manager and work closely with them to ensure that our workforce deliver safe and quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the quality of service delivery to clients.
Be the key contact for our clients and staff within your region Lead and manage the day to day operations within your region to ensure high quality, consistent service delivery.
Lead, manage and support a team of Care and Domestic Workers to provide high quality and safe services to our clients.
Provide induction for all new staff Ensure training compliance for all staff within your region Document and address any performance issues among employees.
Foster and encourage a safe work culture to minimise safety incidents and injuries.
Communicate effectively and inclusively with the team to keep them informed of relevant information.
Identify, report, and resolve hazards and incidents to ensure compliance with safe work procedures.
Respond to and manage client or staff concerns or complaints.
Meet with client's in their homes to complete paperwork and facilitate commencement of their services with RDNS About you The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the Aged Care Industry.
With the ability to, demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes: An understanding of aged care within a community environment.
Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve outcomes.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships, promote services and resolve client/staff issues.
Decision making and problem-solving skills to innovatively manage the provision of service delivery.
Experience identifying and managing risk through escalation A demonstrated empathetic and flexible approach to manage the sensitivities of client and employee issues.
Time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
Knowledge of service provision, allocation and compliance with contractual obligations.
Knowledge of manual handling principles with the ability to train others.
A Health qualification and/ or Certificate III in Community Support Services in order to participate in and demonstrate personal care.
