Your Role As a Care Team Leader you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients.
As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting and mentoring direct care staff to provide quality care to clients and carers within the community.
You will report directly to the Service Delivery Manager and work closely with them to ensure that our workforce deliver safe and quality services to our clients.
Your tasks will include: Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities including medication requirements Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care Lead, manage and support a team of Care and Support Workers to provide high quality and safe services to our clients Provide induction for all new staff Ensure training compliance for Care and Support Workers Foster and encourage a safe work culture to minimise safety incidents and injuries Communicate effectively and inclusively with the team to keep them informed of relevant information Identify, report, and resolve hazards and incidents to ensure compliance with safe work procedures Meet with client's in their homes to complete paperwork and facilitate commencement of their services Your Attributes We're looking for a person who has what it takes to make a difference in our clients' and employees.
