Job Description: We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent's kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.
As a Care Services Employee, you will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. You will provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living, personal care needs (including personal hygiene) and attending to the daily running of the household as part of a supportive, dedicated team at St Vincent's Care Services Edgecliff.
St Vincent's Care Services Edgecliff is just 4km east of Sydney's city centre. Our small but homey 39 bed facility is located in a tranquil, leafy suburb within walking distance of public transport.

Minimum Requirements: Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded Must be available to work AM & PM shifts 3-4 times a week. Experience and interest in Food services or as a Kitchen hand will be highly regarded. Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan National Police Certificate: NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
