The Role We have opportunities available for permanent full-time or part-time candidates to join our team. You will contribute to a multidisciplinary team providing great care and services to our residents. In this role you will assist residents with their personal care, emotional and spiritual needs and promote social engagement. As part of the team, you will be responsible for: Assisting residents with personal care including showering Supporting residents with meals Contributing to care planning with registered staff Documenting care and services provided to residents Engaging residents in meaningful activities The role is classified as a Care Service Employee under the Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) Enterprise Agreement and the base rate of pay ranges from $28.66 to $36.12 per hour (depending on experience) plus shifts and weekend penalties, superannuation and NFP benefits.
