They also proudly and lovingly support hundreds of clients every day cross their 88 specialist aged care homes throughout QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA.The Care Manager position is a crucial leadership role within this small 90-bed aged care facility, ensuring the ongoing clinical integrity and governance of the facility, its clinical staff, and residents. As a senior member of the leadership team, you will work closely with the General Manager in a consultative manner providing advice and direction on clinical priorities, allocation of resources and monitoring and analysing the Australian National Aged Care Classification Funding Guide (AN-ACC). You will also be responsible to ensure all staff are correctly oriented, trained, and appraised, to the highest level. As an advocate for the residents and families, you will have a natural desire to connect with them, actively seeking out their feedback, to ensure the highest level of care is provided daily.This facility is at beautiful Victor Harbour a short walk from the water's edge. The management and staff are stable, caring, and supportive with the residents and staff alike. The facility is evolving as they bring on new technologies to better support the residents and staff. There is a relocation package on offer and furnished, temporary accommodation is available, as part of your package, whilst seeking permanent housing in the local or surrounding areas. This organisation can offer visa sponsorship to overseas trained Registered Nurses, with AHPRA registration, currently working in Australia, who are seeking a new opportunity and are committed to building their career and life in the region.If you are a Registered Nurse with over 10 years' experience in Acute Care/Mental Health, with a desire to step into a more managerial position in aged care, this is the opportunity you have been looking for. Mentoring and training in the specifics of aged care is on offer to you at this facility and organisation.Key Responsibilities:* Ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all residents* Developing and implement nurse care plans and continually evaluate the care plans* Performing comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidents* Participating in and ensure compliance is adhered to in accordance with aged care standards & internal polices* Actively supervising, training and mentoring all RNs and PCWsRequirements:* Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience and 1 in year aged care* Experience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable) or 10 years + experience in acute care or mental health* Ideally you will understand Aged Care Standards and auditing processes and the Australian National Aged Care Classification Funding Guide or willingness to learn* Personal and professional commitment to delivering high quality care* Commitment to providing ongoing staff development for the betterment of the residents* Solid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Current flu and COVID VaccinationsWorkpac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
