The Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for-profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 141 years.
We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Delivering quality clinical assessments for residents through a comprehensive assessment processWorking with staff, residents and families to try and achieve resident's wishesBuilding strong rapport with residents and their familiesLeading and supporting care staff in the delivery of person-centred careManaging medication in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirementsAssisting in the operational duties and continuous improvement within the villageAchieving budgeted goals whilst leading our people to achieve outstanding resultsWhat we look for:Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with minimum 2 years' experienceDemonstrated leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and outstanding people and clinical skillsA genuine passion for caring for the elderlyProficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare (desirable)Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principlesKnowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation and ANACC will be highly regardedAbility to work 76 hours per fortnight and be on call to provide clinical support to the village after hoursWhat's on offer:Work for one of the best providers in the aged care sectorAttractive hourly rates, conditions and salary sacrifice optionsA friendly and supportive manager, culture & teamOpportunities for development and advancement in your careerThis Care Manager position is available immediately, therefore, we encourage you to apply today and submit your application before this exciting opportunity is filled.
