Our client is one of the largest aged care providers in Australia. They are seeking an experienced Aged Care Manager to oversee their facility, which accommodates over 120 beds and includes various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative care. The primary goal of the client is to ensure the health, lifestyle, and well-being of their residents.

About the role:
As a Care Manager, you will join a team of compassionate and dedicated clinical professionals. Your role will involve assisting the General Manager in overseeing and guiding the provision of resident-focused care. You will ensure excellence in continuous assessment, care planning, evaluation, and clinical governance, contributing to residents' longer, healthier, and happier lives.
Duties include Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care homeSupport and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and educationReview clinical incidents, complaints and changesLead compliance with ACFI assessmentsManage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carersPrepare and conduct clinical governance auditsOversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirementsLiaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident careSkills & experience Need to have the right to work in AustraliaBachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essentialPost-grad qualification in aged care highly regardedExperience managing a minimum of 30 bedsProven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute settingExcellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilitiesHighly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skillsAn understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and OutcomesThank you for your application.
