ABOUT THE ROLE: Summary of the role: Located in Young, NSW, we are a 62 bed Residential Aged Care Facility, with Care Companions providing services in a home like environment. Then we would love to talk to you about joining our team.  Permanent Full Time, Part Time and Casual Positions available across AM/PM and ND Providing care and support to our residents at our Aged Care home located in HOME Responsibilities include everyday activities of meal preparation, cleaning, personal hygiene, general activity, medication administration, leisure activities and other general household duties Promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents by partnering with residents to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life Salary is in line with Enterprise Agreement and will be based on your years of experience (hourly base rate between $28.66-$31.36)   ABOUT YOU: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (or similar / or working towards) Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work effectively within a team environment Previous experience in cooking or in a hospitality environment Committment to training and completing Medication Assistance competency ABOUT US: Mercy Health is a Catholic organisation grounded in a 2,000-year tradition of caring for others.
