About the role
The Cardiology Registrar (Unaccredited) will be a valued member of the Division of Medicine in providing clinical services for the cardiology unit under the supervision of the Cardiology Consultants. This includes duties in clinics, CCU, ward, inpatient referrals, and cardiac catheterisation lab. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
MANDATORY CRITERIA:
A primary medical qualification registered or registrable with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Clinical competence, appropriate to the level of training.
Ability to contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to the principles of the Patient Care Model.
Demonstrated understanding of professional medical issues.
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of health and safety issues and of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation as it relates to "Employee" and "Employer" responsibilities.
Ability to develop and implement initiatives of continuous quality improvement within the designated area of work with a demonstrated customer-focused approach to service delivery.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development and willingness to participate in Department / Ward Performance Management (Review) programs.
Awareness and understanding of Infection Control principles as they relate to the position's designated area of work.
