Locum Cardiologists - Dates available for Sydney - Greater Western SydneySaturday 23rd November, Tuesday 19th November, Monday 16th December and Tuesday 17th DecemberOpportunity to be considered as a regular cardiologist to work in a supportive, collaborative teamPay rate $2200 per day using an ABNAbout The ClinicThis is a well-established cardiovascular clinic that offers comprehensive cardiac health services, including echo-cardiograms, stress echocardiography, Holter and event monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABP), and ECGs. The clinic is open six days a week and is a bulk-billing centre for most services, except ABP monitoring. The clinic aims to provide detailed diagnostic support to both patients and referring GPs, accepting test-only referrals as well.The PositionAre you an experienced Cardiologist looking for a locum opportunity to make a meaningful impact? Join a dynamic cardiovascular clinic and support a diverse patient population in a collaborative healthcare setting. This role offers a chance to practice a full spectrum of cardiology services.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (Echo cardiograms, Stress tests, ECGs, Holter monitors, ABP monitors).Diagnose and discuss treatment options with patients, focusing on both immediate care and preventative strategies.Perform non-invasive procedures on site.Prescribe medications and counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive measures to enhance their quality of life.Coordinate follow-up care, send detailed reports to referring doctors within 2 business days, and maintain thorough patient records.Educate and empower patients on heart health and recovery, enhancing long-term wellness.About YouQualifications: FRACP, Specialist AHPRA registration.Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification, with strong clinical skills.Skills: Adaptability, patient-centred approach, ability to work independently, and excellent communication.Language: Proficiency in English.How to ApplyPlease contact Sandra Louey on 0403039*** or email ******.
