This role is responsible for providing clinical measurement services in Cardiology and reports to the Cardiology Services Manager, with guidance and supervision from the Senior Cardiac Scientist. Some of the other specific responsibilities of the position are to:
Work closely with the Cardiologists to ensure the production of safe, high-quality patient reportsContribute to the timely release of patient results to doctors and specialistsTroubleshoot the scientific and administration processesProvide over-the-phone support to patients and collection centresAssist with performance reviews, training and clinical educationUndertake ongoing reviews and documentation of relevant proceduresTo be successful in this role you will have: To qualify, you will need a Bachelor's degree (Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7) or Postgraduate qualification (AQF Level 8) in healthcare science with subjects of study specific to cardiac science, including cardiovascular anatomy, cardiovascular physiology, cardiovascular pathophysiology, cardiac pharmacology, and bioinstrumentation (medical technology). Relevant post-graduate experience will also be essential.

Accreditation with the Australian Council for Clinical PhysiologistsMembership with PiCSAYou will have high-level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines.
