And that means we're creating a workplace and culture where you can truly thrive.Join us and help move Australia's heart health and your career forward.Your impact, with usAs our highly valued Cardiac Physiologist, you'll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of heart and cardiovascular conditions.Based in Paddington, you'll perform high quality non-invasive cardiac investigations, helping to improve people's health and lives and shaping our organisation's future.You'll make a meaningful impact by:Performing high quality non-invasive cardiac investigations as part of our high-volume Holter lab, including standard resting 12-lead ECG's, attachment and analysis of ambulatory Holter, blood pressure and event monitor tests. Opportunities to assist with stress tests at our Brisbane clinics when required.Providing careful and accurate analysis of test results, ensuring that results are recorded accurately and promptly, and that relevant results are signed by the cardiologist as required.Providing assistance to all patients and clinics, showing professionalism, empathy and understanding.Maintaining a current awareness of advancements in cardiac testing relating to ECG, Holter, Blood Pressure, Event Monitoring and remaining up to date with changes to or improvements in monitoring and analysis software.Actively participating in team bonding, team development and training opportunities.Providing training and support to our wider network of clinics regarding Holter processes. Working with clinical, administrative and doctor groups to deliver Holter service.Participating in ongoing education and onboarding/training to other staff.What you'll bringTo succeed in this role, you will have:Completion of a Primary Degree in Health Science or related field, or a Degree or Diploma in Applied Science. Those currently enrolled in a similar course will be given consideration.Minimum 1 year ECG/Holter analysis preferred, but not essential.Experience in electronic medical records preferred, but not essential.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.Excellent patient care skills with a demonstrated ability to show a friendly, sensitive and professional approach when dealing with patients of varying backgrounds and age.Current Australia drivers license required for occasional clinic support across locations.Experience in Holter device systems and training.
