Embark on a rewarding journey at our Murdoch clinic as a Cardiac CT Radiographer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional cardiac CT services to patients at Advara HeartCare. Operating within purpose-built facility, you'll be at the forefront of providing top-tier care in a dedicated environment.
In this role, collaboration is key. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Cardiologists and administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination of rostered lists, maintaining our high standards of patient care with timeliness and professionalism.
We are looking for a permanent part time CT Radiographer (0.6-0.8 FTE), with potential to scale up the position to 1.0 FTE over time, however we are happy to be flexible and encourage anyone interested in the role to apply.
What you'll do: Provide Cardiac CT examinations (including but not limited to CT Coronary Angiography, Structural Heart CT scans and Calcium Scores) to patients with established CT practices whilst ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.Provide careful and accurate analysis of imaging, including workup and vessel tracking on GE AW Workstation, and any urgent findings are relayed to reporting cardiologists as required.Perform any necessary administrative functions required to ensure patients examinations are completed in a timely manner.Liaise with Administration staff to ensure clinical lists and appointments are utilised effectively.Implement quality processes and mechanisms as required and suggest positive improvements to systems, processes, procedures, workflows and workloads to ensure the delivery of a quality testing service to Cardiology patients.Assist with managing and maintaining CTCA stock levels and ordering required medical consumables through our procurement system. Who you are: Current Authority to Practice as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current EPA radiation licence.Experience in Cardiac CT imaging is required.Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload. With the ability to effectively manage resources and competing priorities, and problem solving.Excellent patient care skills with a demonstrated ability to show a friendly, sensitive and professional approach when dealing with our patients.
