Our parks are primarily made up of long-term permanent residents, in addition to a small motel and tourist site operation. Job Tasks and Responsibilities The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance (cabin/van repairs, property maintenance, grounds maintenance, waste management etc), operation of the sewerage treatment plant, security and enforcement of rules of both parks which comprises motel units, cabins, powered and camping sites and permanent residents. The Maintenance Manager will work with a General Manager who will run the office operations and overall operations of the parks, reporting directly to the Owner who has significant residential management experience. The Maintenance Manager will be supported by an Assistant Maintenance Manager, cleaners, and three other grounds staff. The Maintenance Manager will also be on call, whilst on shift outside of office hours for any emergencies that might occur. Skills and Experience Trade or Handyperson or Building Skills Customer Service Amenity cleaning Security and OH&S HR management Key Result Areas Maintenance programme, schedule and budget Efficiency of costs Occupancy Guest and resident service HR Management Selection Criteria Previous caravan park management experience and/or residential management experience (2 years +) Trade or Handyperson or Building Skills Hands-on management style - maintenance and problem resolution Passion for a quality community and constant improvement and efficiency Proficiency with computer software i.e. Outlook, Google Sheets Understanding of corporate processes, HR, reporting, and workplace health and safety. Ability to work in a team environment Work schedule will be 10 days on with 4 days off, including some public holidays. The Maintenance Manager is expected to be on call outside of business hours for emergencies.
This package is a full-time position, with Annual Leave and Superannuation paid.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Package: $78,000/year + 11.5% Super = $86,970. Plus Annual and Sick Leave.
Plus a 3 bedroom furnished residence with utilities included valued at $26,000 pa.
Total Salary Package with house: $112,970.
