Product Specialist / BDM – Vibratory Screens & Feeders This National OEM equipment specialist has experienced significant growth. Although they are a small organization with only 10 employees, they operate with a high degree of professionalism and represent one of the largest OEMs globally. The equipment is sourced directly from the USA and Europe, and you will be the key driver for all product sales within Western Australia. The plan involves having a full-time position based in Western Australia, with an aim to open a new facility in Perth within 18 months to support customers and manage new equipment deliveries in WA. With several significant achievements in WA, including partnerships with Fortescue Mining, GR Engineering Services, BHP, and Citic Pacific Mining, they have established a strong reputation for delivering Screening equipment successfully to major mine sites.
Job Opportunity: This role involves delivering comprehensive 360-degree solutions, from turnkey plants to application engineering and aftermarket support like parts, installation, and electrical upgrades. Your goal is to secure key customers through excellent business development, focusing on both full turnkey systems and new equipment sales or aftermarket services. With Western Australia's growth accelerating, you will travel across the state, acquiring new customers and strengthening existing relationships.
The key focus will be the Mining Market for Gold & Iron Ore throughout Western Australia.
In this role, you need to have a clear understanding of the following machines and aftermarket services because the contacts and relationships that you will be talking with will need you to be technically savvy and have a detailed engineering understanding. Here are the product lines in your portfolio within Western Australia:
Vibratory Screens Bin Activator Hopper Parts Installations The sales breakdown will be as follows: 80% for New & Used Equipment, 10% for new and aftermarket parts, and 10% for Services and Installations. This role requires extensive travel, estimated to be over 100,000 km each year, across the state. This is not a desk job; the primary workspace will be the car. Engineering support and assistance can be provided by the head office, but the position necessitates statewide travel within WA.
Candidate Requirements: 5+ Years in selling Fixed Plant screens. Proven contacts and relationships within the relevant markets. Trade or engineering qualification would be great but not essential; you will need to be able to read schematics and engineering CAD or SolidWorks, so a technical mind is clearly the goal here. Hardworking with a solid work ethic. Passion, motivation, and high energy to be involved in a unique industry. Willingness to travel to the USA and Head office on the East Coast. Salary Package: The role is going to offer a full package and support program that can see you earn beyond through your sales achievements. We are open to negotiating a suitable base point in the interview process that is in line with the current market.
