Capital / Project Accountant

This large Mining Services company is looking for someone with strong project and cost/capital experience to join a growing team.
With a view to grow this role in the coming years, it is the perfect chance to break into a great company for continued professional and career growth.Responsibilities:Maintaining the Asset Register including Capital Work in Progress.Plant finance and administration - accounting procedures related to various operations (general ledger, accruals, journal entry preparation, property/plant reconciliations).Preparing monthly depreciation and plant reports including analysis for monthly actuals compared to budget.Reconciliation of PPE roll forward monthly (statutory PPE note).Reconciliation of Capital Works in Progress through capitalisation of major assets and respective components.Report on Capex spend for the Company and provide analysis report for month end report pack.Assisting inventory accounting regarding reconciliations, stock takes and adjustments.Provide support to business unit managers in preparation of the Plant and inventory budgets.Assist in half-year and year-end Financial Audits.Experience:2-5 years of accounting, finance and project exposure.Commercial accounting and exposure in medium to large companies would be preferred.CA/CPA qualification is key here.SAP exposure desirable.Ability to be analytical and read between the numbers is an advantage.If anyone is interested in this role or making a move in 2025, please reach out via email for more information:Contact: #J-18808-Ljbffr
