The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and driven professional to join our team as a Capital Equipment Sales Specialist for the Municipal & Environmental Industries.

You will play a key role in driving growth and expanding our market presence across the Separations portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.

We are flexible on location and open to candidates based in any East Coast capital city in Australia; however, the role reports directly into our AUS/NZ Head Office in Melbourne.
An immediate start is preferred, but we can accommodate a start in the new year for the right candidate.
Your Key Responsibilities Business Development: Generate new business and expand existing accounts in the Municipal & Environmental Industries, promoting engineering services, capital equipment (new & replacement), and parts.Innovative Solutions: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, machinery modernisation, and automation/digitalisation upgrades.Opportunity Identification: Seek opportunities to replace non-ANDRITZ equipment and plants within the Environmental sector, increasing market share.Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of competitive proposals, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate bid formulation.Contract Negotiation: Support contract negotiations post-proposal, ensuring smooth transitions from bid to implementation with key stakeholders.Account Management: Oversee and nurture key customer relationships across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction.Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and opportunities through CRM, providing regular updates on progress.The Ideal Candidate You will bring a strong background in Mechanical/Industrial/Processing Engineering, coupled with practical knowledge of machinery and processes in the environmental separation sector.
Ideally, you will possess an Engineering or Science degree, along with prior experience in Capital Equipment Sales within the Separations or Environmental industries, setting you apart.
While a sales background is preferred, we also welcome professionals with a solid understanding of the environmental sector who possess excellent communication and influencing skills, a results-driven mindset, and a passion for innovation.
