About the Role This is a Fixed Term Full time position to cover Parental Leave for 12 months Maternity Leave within the Finance Department at the RCH.
We are looking for an experienced Capital/Financial Accountant and you will be responsible for the management of the fixed asset register and ensure capital purchase are in accordance with RCH governance process. The role will include internal and external stakeholder engagement, monitoring and reporting on project financial performance, capital forecasting, month end reporting and reconciliations and compliance with the RCH policies and statutory requirements.
Classification for this position will range from AO61 - AO65 (base salary $106,464.80 to $109,319.60 per annum, plus superannuation)
Your skills and experience A tertiary qualification in Accounting and CPA/CA qualifiedA minimum of 7 years' experience in financial accountingProven leadership experience in driving yearly asset stocktake, as well be strong understanding of capital accounting and its accounting standardPrevious experience in the use of Oracle systemPrevious experience in the preparation of statutory accountsExtensive experience in managing and analysing high volumes of data to recognise, understand and assist in solving problemsIf this sounds like you, click here to view the position description.
