Working at CQUniversityCQUniversity's Finance Directorate is responsible for managing the financial operations of the university, including providing business and financial insights, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting, and offering support and advice to various internal and external stakeholders.
As a key member of the Corporate Budget Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the university's financial stability and growth.
Your primary objective will be to prepare and maintain the annual capital budget and forward projections, fostering productive relationships with stakeholders, and delivering exceptional financial management, reporting and support to our diverse university community.
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with significant experience in management accounting, especially in budgeting and forecasting, expertise in using large Financial Management Systems (FMS), and effective communication skills.
You will confidently manage capital budgets, adhere to Australian Accounting Standards and Queensland Government Guidelines, and consistently uphold a high standard of service.
