The human rights of the people we support are at the centre of everything we do. About the Role: The Capability Development Business Partner plays a key role in shaping Melba's Capability and Professional Development landscape.
Reporting to the Capability and Development Manager, you'll develop and execute initiatives to build workforce capability.
You'll lead and contribute to projects that enhance organisational effectiveness through learning strategies and initiatives. You'll identify, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate programs that improve skills, knowledge, productivity, and performance.
This includes providing advice, coaching, and support on strategic and operational learning needs. Working closely with Melba managers and staff, you'll offer an effective consultancy service, ensuring learning initiatives are relevant, aligned with organisational objectives, and reflect Melba's values. Responsibilities: Review, design, develop, and deliver customised learning and capability programs in alignment with the Capability Development strategy, to meet organisational goals Regularly review and update current learning programs for relevance Support the implementation and maintenance of effective learning, leadership, and professional development programs Conduct needs assessments and stakeholder consultations to identify learning priorities and opportunities for improvement Act as an Capability Development SME as required, providing input and support on projects Qualifications and Experience: Extensive experience in Learning and/or Capability in medium to large organisations Strong experience in identifying, designing, developing, managing and implementing Learning and/or Capability Development strategies, initiatives, programs, systems, and processes including utilising a wide variety of delivery options Prior experience in the disability or similar sector is desirable Strong strategic thinking, analysis, and planning skills Creative thinker with a solution-focused mindset Collaborative self-starter with flexibility and adaptability Excellent communication, facilitation, and learning design skills Proven ability to build and influence relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels Qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Business, Human Resources or Organisational Development or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable (but not required) Requirements: A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (we can support you through the process of obtaining one or both checks if you don't already have them).
