About the Role As a canteen assistant in a school, you'll play a vital role in ensuring students have access to healthy and appetizing meals throughout the day.
You'll be part of a dynamic, supportive team, contributing to the smooth running of the canteen by helping with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
This role offers a great opportunity to work in a lively and rewarding setting, interact with students, and be a positive influence on their daily school experience—all while developing valuable customer service and food handling skills.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave.
The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
