About the Role A Canteen Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of a school or workplace canteen by preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with food preparation.Ensuring food safety standards are met.Keeping the kitchen and dining area clean and organised.The role offers several benefits, such as the opportunity to work in a dynamic and social environment, gain valuable experience in food handling and customer service, and play a part in promoting healthy eating habits.
