We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Canteen Assistant on day shift!

About the role We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Canteen Assistant on Day shift to join the team at DON in Castlemaine, Victoria. This role is a permanent full-time role and has an immediate start, working Monday to Friday (approx. 5:30am - 1:30pm).
Your duties may include:
Food preparation Basic cooking Customer service Cleaning & dishwashing Stock replenishment Some heavy lifting The ideal applicant will have: Food Handlers Certificate - required Solid experience in a similar position, including food preparation and customer service Excellent communication skills and professional presentation Thorough understanding of OH&S and Food Safety practices A high attention to detail with a hands-on approach Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Catering experience is a bonus Personal Characteristics Demonstrated organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach Able to work independently, with minimal supervision Be flexible and trusting Demonstrate a sound work ethic Quality & Safety conscious Why join us: Our Purpose is to Craft food that brings out 'the good'.
