For You. For Always. Are you ready to make a difference that lasts a lifetime?
At C&K, our purpose is to make a positive impact on children's lives. It's what we've been doing for more than 115 years. Through evidence-based thinking, hard work and true compassion, we've built a trusted reputation as Queensland's leading provider of early childhood education.
Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always. Every C&K career helps children belong and grow. We want the same for you and joining C&K means impacting a child's life journey for the time they spend with us and long after they leave. But so much of what we do depends on you.
We'll set you up for success with a range of benefits, programs and opportunities to help you earn, be well and grow.
Get a better deal with a wage rate of $25.10 - $32.03 per hour plus salary sacrificing options. Working Monday to Friday. Live, work and be well with our Employee Assistance Program for you and your family. Find a healthy work-life balance with parental leave, return-to-work support, and family-friendly priority access to C&K childcare centres. We fully fund your Blue Card, Police Check, First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. Save money with childcare discounts for eligible employees with children enrolled at a C&K Branch Centre. Be rewarded for supporting the growth of our teams with a $1000 referral bonus for referring a successful candidate to a C&K vacancy. Access a nationally recognised qualification in the high-demand field of early childhood education and care with subsidised training for eligible students through the C&K College. Help shape the future of children in our care. As one of our highly valued Educators, you'll support and guide children's learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.
Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you'll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.
Our centre has a combination of both age-based rooms and communal learning spaces where siblings and children of all ages can come together to learn and play. Our spacious playgrounds offer established gardens, lovely shade trees, and a large sand pit in each play space. There are many play opportunities for the children across all areas of development, encouraging each child's natural curiosity to play and discover.
What you'll bring Whether you're an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you're energetic, fun and committed to guiding children's early learning and development, we'll set you up for success!
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:
A minimum of a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification. First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card. A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one). You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community alongside a team-player mindset - when you join C&K, you join a village of good-hearted, talented people, so you can lean on them as they lean on you.
Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always. C&K is a child-safe organisation and all C&K employees are required to undergo a police check and not be a ' Restricted Person ' or Suspended Educator under the QLD Blue Card System.
We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people from all backgrounds.
