Because together, we can create a better world. The opportunity:Seeking a skilled Double Seam Can Closer Mechanic with expertise in maintaining and optimizing Zacmi made can closers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and fine-tuning double seam can closing machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Zacmi equipment, proficiency in mechanical diagnostics, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.What you will be doing in more detail but not limited to:· Looking after machine / can size change overs, including preparation of change over parts and coordination and maintenance of returning parts.· Troubleshooting and repairing Zacmi made can closers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency.· Working to liaise between Production and Maintenance to improve and decrease time required for can size change overs.· Assisting with training of other team members as required.What you will bring to the team:· Years of experience and expertise in double seam cans.· Proven track record of maintaining high-quality double seam closures through meticulous adjustment and calibration of machinery.· Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics for effective problem-solving.· Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to regulatory standards, fostering a culture of workplace safety and compliance within the team.· Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical, highly desirable, but not essentialBenefits:· Ongoing and specialised training, with industry knowledge being gained· Join our team of energised, industry leading, can making specialists
