The Campus The town of Swan Hill is located on the banks of the Murray River in the lakes district of northern Victoria.
Swan Hill Campus is located in a very quiet court that provides a spacious and secure environment, while still allowing easy access to the town amenities.
The campus is a modern purpose-built facility with the recent addition of a large multi-purpose centre.
Around half of the students who attend the Campus travel from the nearby town of Kerang.
The Position As the Campus Principal, you will be responsible for the management and professional leadership of the campus on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the delivery of the curriculum with a focus on the student as a self-directed learner, the implementation of the school's policies and programs and the provision of pastoral care.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
In this role you will be expected to: Manage the administration of the Campus.
Support and respect the School's Ethos, Values and Guiding Principles.
Provide professional and instructional leadership ensuring the school curriculum is delivered in line with the Australian Curriculum requirements across Years 3 - 12.
In association with the Board Directors plan the school budget and keep to the agreed budgets.
Focus on enhanced student achievement and engagement for all students across the school.
Small teaching load as required.
Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have previous school leadership experience which may include primary sub-school, secondary sub-school, campus leadership or an equivalent level in curriculum development or teaching and learning leadership.
