If you have a knack for preparing diverse and balanced meals, managing kitchen supplies efficiently, and maintaining impeccable cleanliness, we want to hear from you!Cone Bay: You will be working on the beautiful island of Cone Bay in the remote coastlines of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Tassal provides accommodation, a gym and all meals on the island, and we provide transport from Broome to the island. This is a full-time position working a 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster.What does your week look like?Menu Planning & Preparation: Plan menus with consideration for dietary needs and food intolerances. Prepare sufficient meals in advance for vessel trips.Nutritional Balance and Timeliness - Ensure meals are nutritionally balanced and served at set times, considering operational requirements.Supply Ordering & Stock Management - Order supplies to minimise wastage while maintaining meal quality. Conduct regular stocktakes to manage inventory effectively.Kitchen and Dining Area Cleanliness - Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including refrigeration units and food storage.Safe Cooking Standards - Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with safe cooking standards and in a hygienic manner.General Cleaning & Laundry Duties - Perform general cleaning duties, including galley, shower & toilet facilities, using appropriate cleaning products. Launder bedding at crew change and handle additional laundering needs. What can you bring?
