Women's and Children's Health Network, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), Pt Pirie (5540), Pt Augusta (5700), Whyalla (5600), Pt Lincoln (5606), Whyalla & Kadina (5600 & 5554) - LOCATION NEGOTIABLESalary Classification - AHP3 - Allied Health Professional L3 - $104,180 to $111,746Classification - RN/M3C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife L3 - $121,537 to $126,970 Full time - Term Contract (temporary up to 2-Year contract) About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS team as a Clinical Coordinator, where you will be responsible for: In partnership with the Team Psychiatrist is responsible for day to day coordination and leadership of the multidisciplinary team.Uses their knowledge and experience to ensure best practice standards are achieved and is available to consult with other staff with in the team around complex clinical presentations.Works collaboratively and in partnership with a broad range of government, non-government and private practitioners/service providers, consumers and carers.Is accountable for the delivery of high quality care, which is consistent with the Department of Health & WCHN quality framework.Accepts accountability for the outcomes of the teams practices in the child and adolescent mental health service and /or related services, for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy and developing team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of patient/client outcomes.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have: Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with endorsement for clinical practice; or registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.Proven leadership experience, including the ability to coordinate workflow and the work of others, ensure that work meets required standards, motivate other professional staff and foster team member participation in decision making.Knowledge of contemporary triage practices relevant to child and adolescent mental healthDemonstrated highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Demonstrated ability to apply specialist skills in resolving complex clinical problemsExcellent liaison and presentation skills which includes an ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff, administrative and clinical and with key personnel from other agencies.
