Women's and Children's Health Network, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), North Adelaide (5006)Classification - RN/M3 - Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 3 - $121,537 to $126,970Employment Full time - Term Contract (temporary 12 month contract)About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS Connect (Triage) team as a Nurse Consultant, where you will be responsible for:
Providing clinical leadership and mental health expertise within the team via a therapeutic triage assessment, generating a collaborative future treatment plan for clients accessing the CAMHS services.In partnership with other senior staff, responsible for day to day clinical leadership of CAMHS Connect.Using knowledge and experience to ensure best practice standards are achieved in relation to entry into CAMHS and is available to consult with other staff within the team around complex clinical presentations.Working collaboratively and in partnership with a broad range of government, non-government and private practitioners/service providers, consumers and carers.Accountability for the delivery of high quality care, which is consistent with the Department of Health & WCHN quality framework.Accepting accountability for the outcomes of the team's practices in CAMHS Connect, for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy and developing team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of patient/client outcomes.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Working experience as Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.Demonstrated competence in delivering proficient and comprehensive mental health nursing assessment and direct clinical services to children, young people and their families experiencing complex, acute or chronic mental illness/ trauma or a wide range of emotional and behavioural disturbance.Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines.Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.What WCHN Can Offer You Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.Access to Fitness Passport (workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide choice of gyms and pools across South Australia.)Free Public Transport for SA Health Metropolitan Hospital Workers.Access to generous leave provisions and professional development opportunities.Support for you and your family via our Employee Assistance Program.You may be eligible for financial support if you are considering relocating from interstate or overseas.
