Seven Cairns currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Camera Operator / Editor to join our dynamic and talented News team. We are looking for someone who possesses a high level of creativity and a camera / editing style consistent with metropolitan television.
We are looking for someone who has: Experience in News and on-air operations (essential). Drive and passion for high production standards and creating a quality product. The ability to think clearly, communicate, and act quickly under pressure requiring minimal supervision. Interpersonal skills and is capable of forming productive relationships with reporters and producers. An ability to work irregular hours. A willingness to travel at short notice to cover breaking news. A work ethic that thrives on high standards and high demands on outcomes. An ability to work to tight deadlines and in a work environment that can change rapidly and often. This position may require some on-call/out of hours work, and an unrestricted manual driver's licence is mandatory.
