Calytrix is seeking an Online Learning and Content Developer who will be responsible for assisting in the design of training packages as part of Calytrix's support to a major Defence customer.
Working as part of a blended team (Prime, Calytrix and Defence), the position will work collaboratively with the Calytrix Training Support Team (TST) to design and develop comprehensive training strategies and packages to facilitate the introduction into service and continuation training for a new and major Defence maritime capability.
The position will work with other training support team members, facilitators and management to deliver the training outcomes required of the project. This includes assisting and supporting all work relating to the training analysis, design, development, evaluation and implementation processes.
Responsibilities Working with the TST to develop and contribute to training related documents within a SADL framework. Supporting the development of the training and education system, using the SADL approach throughout the Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate phases. Creation of online content using Defence's Learning Management System (LMS). Supporting the development of the learning materials and equipment requirements including key interfaces to manage the development of the required training materials (systems, simulation, software, hardware, and classroom materials). Requirements Experience with the SADL (ADDIE model) systems approach, or equivalent AQTF methodology. Experience with content creation in Modularised Objective Oriented Dynamic Learning Environments (MOODLE) with exposure to the Australian Defence Education Learning Environment (ADELE) considered highly desirable. Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent. Strong foundation of Learning & Development gained through previous experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in the maritime and/or defence industry is highly desirable. Hold an Australian Defence clearance or has the ability to gain a clearance, which includes the requirement to hold Australian citizenship. This position is offered as a full-time role with an initial engagement anticipated at three years. The position is based in the Perth CBD and some inter-State travel is anticipated.
