Calliope Plumbing is privileged to be currently working alongside Tier 1 Construction Companies to construct several local projects including Queensland Education & Catholic Education school upgrades, The Teys Rockhampton upgrade and Rockhampton Mental Health Facility. We are also licensed gas experts able to install, maintain and repair the Natural & LPG networks within the Gladstone Region.
About the role: We have an opportunity for a highly motivated Contracts and Project Management Officer with a winning attitude to be part of formulating and executing overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. Responsibilities: Office Administration: Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook in particular) Use of Xero for all Accounting Tasks (e.g., Invoicing, Purchase Orders, etc.) Use of Tradify for Scheduling/Timesheet Tasks Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary Scheduling of staff and equipment Monitoring tender requests and transfer of files to shared drive, review all updates and ensure they are transferred to the shared drive in a timely manner Monitor emails and formulate responses in a timely manner Engage with clients, suppliers and consultants as requested Site meetings (both via Teams and face to face) Understanding scope of works from engineered plans Production of bill of quantities for suppliers Assistance with accurate estimation of tenders Formulation of tender submission documents Review successful contracts and liaise with management during procurement phase Safety, Health, Environment and Quality: Compiling Health & Safety Documents for each portion of works Review SWMS to make compliant and job/task specific Review Safety Data Sheets Review and Update Plant & Risk Assessments Preparation of bill of quantities from specification documents Ordering of materials and coordination of delivery with site staff Liaise with Regional Council Bodies regarding applications, scheduling of inspections, certification documents Establish and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractors Compiling costs associated with RFI's and submission of supporting documents to client Financial support with the goal of meeting all key performance indicators Oversee and manage Budget Management Why Join Us?
