The position is an over the phone client-facing role, which is vital for us to provide the excellent customer service and support our clients require. This role can be fast paced and requires quick thinking and resilience to help our clients get they help they need. This role is worked on a rotating 24/7 roster. 
Responsibilities Answer a variety of medical alarm activations, from emergency assistance calls to general testing and troubleshootingProvide reassurance and peace of mind to our customers and their family membersNotify the emergency services and communicate critical emergency detailsFollowing protocols and processes based on individual client needsExperience and Requirements Engaging 'people person' with the ability to demonstrate empathyProven experience in customer service and exceptional listening skillsExcellent resilience, quick reaction time and attention to detailComputer literate, ability to pick up new systems quickly and accurate typing skills
First aid certificate, or willing to get oneA team player who will add to our already amazing workplace cultureSomeone who is looking for the long-term career stability that we can provideFlexibility The role is a permanent part-time position working 30.4 hours per week across a 24/7 roster. Our busiest times of day are 8am to 11am on weekdays, however, given that we are a 24/7 business, we have shifts to suit most people, so please let us know what hours and days suit and we will see if we can make that work! 
Penalty rates apply when rostered to work unsociable hours, for the entire shift! Rosters are released a month in advance so time off can be planned in advance with this in mind.
This role is required to be worked in the office during business hours for the initial training period of approximately 4 weeks (dependent on progress of the individual). Full training takes about 3-6 months working a 24/7 roster in the office, after which we happily offer hybrid remote working opportunities for some people, with up to 50% of rostered shifts able to be worked remotely. To be considered to work in a hybrid role, the candidate needs to have their training marked as competent by the Team Leader, a strong work ethic, suitable computer equipment and good internet access at their homes.
