Job Description:

BlueScope Steel is seeking a dedicated and confident Call Center Specialist to join our team in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. As an Associate Level position, the successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a call center environment.

Responsibilities:1. Answer incoming calls from customers and provide information about products and services.2. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.3. Utilize negotiation skills to handle customer complaints and find satisfactory solutions.4. Demonstrate emotional intelligence when dealing with challenging situations or difficult customers.5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.7. Meet and exceed call center performance metrics, including call quality and customer satisfaction ratings.8. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements:1. At least 4 years of experience in a call center or customer service role.2. Confident and dedicated personality traits.3. Strong negotiation skills and emotional intelligence.4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.5. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes.6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.7. Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
