**Position Overview:**
As a Call Center Associate at BlueScope Steel, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our products and services. This is a part-time, entry-level position that offers the opportunity to work remotely while developing your skills in a supportive environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Interaction:**
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and courteous manner.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide relevant product information and solutions.

- **Issue Resolution:**
- Identify issues or complaints and effectively communicate with customers to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Document and escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments, ensuring follow-up as necessary.

- **Product Knowledge:**
- Maintain a thorough understanding of BlueScope Steel products, services, and processes to provide accurate information to customers.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay up-to-date with new products and company policies.

- **Sales Support:**
- Persuade customers to explore additional products or services that may meet their needs, contributing to overall sales growth.
- Assist in processing orders, returns, and exchanges while ensuring customer satisfaction.

- **Collaboration:**
- Cooperate with colleagues across various departments to enhance the customer experience.
- Share insights and feedback from customer interactions to help improve processes and product offerings.

- **Data Management:**
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback using company databases and CRM software.
- Conduct follow-up calls and outreach as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or training in business, communications, or customer service is a plus.

- **Experience:**
- No prior experience required; however, experience in customer service or sales is advantageous.

- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort using computer-based systems and CRMs.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace conducive to remote work.

- **Personality Traits:**
- Independent: Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
