Are you ready to lead the technological transformation of a dynamic organisation? Our client is a leader in the disability services sector and is seeking an exceptional General Manager, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to drive their digital strategy and ICT operations excellence.
As the General Manager ICT , you will be responsible for leading and managing operational and strategic information systems, communications, and business technologies. Reporting to the CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming ICT into a core enabler of organisational success by delivering IT that supports current and future business needs.
Key areas of focus: Leadership Lead and grow a positive technology-enabled business culture. Research, evaluate and implement new and emerging technologies and systems. Provide vision and advice to the Executive Team for developing and implementing IT and business systems projects. Partnerships and Relationships Collaborate with internal stakeholders and executive leaders to align ICT initiatives with business priorities. Foster and build productive and sustainable professional relationships with external stakeholders to ensure systems meet both current and emerging organisational requirements. Work with CFO and existing IT partners to execute the Digital Strategy and lead transformational initiatives. Ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure while managing risk through cybersecurity initiatives and disaster recovery planning. Service Delivery Oversee IT function, IT contracts, projects, and budgets, ensuring efficient delivery of services such as ICT administration, records management, and corporate systems. Business Systems Manage development, implementation and maintenance of business systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, Scheduling), ensuring performance, security, and reliability. Optimise existing systems and explore opportunities for new system enhancements through increased automation, integration and incorporation of enabling technologies (e.g. generative AI). Oversee IT projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope. Resource Management Coordinate business planning, budgeting and expenditure of funds to optimise the use of information technology to support business processes. Develop business cases for the development and implementation of information systems. Governance and Reporting Ensure compliance with policies. Provide regular updates to leadership. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within ICT practices. Key Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience managing IT infrastructure and business systems in a medium-sized organisation (>$75M). A proven track record of implementing innovative ICT strategies aligned with organisational goals. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and service-focused mindset. Experience in the care or disability sector (desirable).
