Cairns Beach Resort, the only one Holiday Accommodations on the stunning beachfront of Holloways Beach, offers guests a unique tropical getaway with amenities such as lush gardens, a resort-style saltwater pool, and easy access to attractions like the Great Barrier Reef and SkyRail terminal. After 2023 Cyclone Jasper and Flooding, we have developed an overall refurbishment and expansion programme. As we embark on an exciting renovation and expansion plan, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Administrator to join our team and drive this initiative to success.
The Project Administrator plays a pivotal role in planning and managing organizational programs, renovation and expansion projects, and support services. This role is essential in ensuring our upcoming renovations align with Cairns Beach Resort's quality standards and enhance our guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for new projects and ongoing maintenance initiatives. Schedule and oversee project meetings to discuss project updates, timelines, and any issues that need to be addressed. Prepare regular budget reports, highlighting any variances or additional costs, and provide these reports to senior management. Review, organize, and archive contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and third-party vendors to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and safety standards. Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project status and updates. Monitor project health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Conduct post-project reviews to assess project success, identify lessons learned, and provide insights for future projects. Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in project administration. Diploma or other equivalent qualifications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards are met across all aspects of the project. Competency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite). Position Name: Project Administrator
