Your Role Oversee the supervision of SJG Bunbury Café and Kiosk to ensure a high standard of hospitality is provided to patients, customers and caregivers.
Provide support to the Coordinator Café & Retail Services.
The Position: In consultation with Cafeteria Food Services Coordinator, oversee the delivery of a high standard of food service through speed, efficiency and effective training of the café team.
Lead hot and cold food production as required (and to the menu standards).
Ensure the accurate fulfillment of internal catering food orders – being flexible to meet customer expectations.
Ensure displays are well stocked and merchandised.
Ensure the security of cash, stock and equipment.
Maintain an appropriate working knowledge of all café workstations.
Take personal responsibility for food stock management.
Provide personal input into menu development.
Lead and provide daily supervision for cafe teams and physical resources Assist with adhoc roster changes.
Assist in implementing change and business improvement projects as directed by Cafeteria Food Services Coordinator.
Provide coaching and training as necessary to all café staff.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas as required.
You will have substantial food production experience and an applied knowledge of HACCP and food safety management systems - with relevant qualification(s).
You will have a sound knowledge of computer basics as well as barista and POS experience.
To succeed you will display a high standard of personal presentation and an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
It is essential you have an understanding of and ability to apply OH&S principles.
