Le Bon Mélange Gungahlin (S J CAFE) is seeking to hire a full-time experienced Cafe Manager, located in Gungahlin, ACT.
About the Company: Le Bon Melange has grown organically since its inception in 2017 and our team needs to expand again. We have dedicated ourselves to high-quality production and pride ourselves on making unique breakfast, lunch menu, desserts, cakes, and pastries, using quality ingredients. We have excellent customer support from our local communities.
About the role: This role is a full-time position. The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing a cafe for at least 1 year, have relevant qualifications, and be able to work in a dynamic team. Availability on Saturday and Sunday is essential. Also, training of junior staff and supporting the team to achieve daily production goals.
Skills required: Oversee the daily operations of the café Ensuring high standards in service, food quality, presentation, and cleanliness. Manage staff roster and maintain wages according to sales. Train new staff, ongoing coaching, and skill development among existing team members. Build a positive and supportive team environment. Build a positive and productive relationship with all customers, and team members. Maintain correct inventory levels and make order supplies as required. Maintain health, safety, and sanitation regulations. What we can offer: Salary: 75K + Super Two consecutive days off. Good and well maintained equipment and environment. Has experience working in a team with various processes and production management. Presents effective communication skills.
