The Big Banana Fun Park is the BIGGEST and BEST Fun Park on the Northern NSW coast. It's a full day of fun for the entire family set amongst the bananas, overlooking the amazing Coffs Harbour coastline.
With 10 fantastic attractions including a 6 lane Giant Slide known as "The Racer" which is the biggest slide of its kind in the country, a 600m Toboggan ride, a state-of-the-art Laser Tag arena, Water Park (Available Sept – Apr) including 6 heart-stopping thrill slides, kids aqua play and wading pool area, magnificently sculpted 36 hole Mini Golf course, Theatre and Plantation tour, Go Bananas Fun Zone, a 4D Ride Simulator, Ice-Skating Rink, Bumper Cars and 4 Escape Rooms! The park also features a Café, Gift Shop, Aloha Shack, Candy Kitchen, Opal Centre and Steve McEwan's Reptile World.
Job DescriptionDemonstrate willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge.Excellent presentation skills.Deliver excellent customer service and strive for continuous improvement.Communicate with customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.Take accurate food and drinks orders using a POS ordering software.Ability to perform general calculations and measurements and apply this knowledge to cash handling or preparing menu items.Inform customers of the day's specials and upsell products where appropriate.Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and report any issues.Serve food & drinks, clear & clean tables, wash dishes and maintain a tidy dining area.Sound working knowledge of products, services, activities and promotions offered in the immediate workplace.Understand how your immediate workplace relates to other areas of the park and generally aware of what is happening around the park.Work cooperatively with team members, assist other staff, contribute positively to team spirit and performance and demonstrate support for the Company's commitment to a harassment-free workplace.Active listening and effective communication skills with the capacity to receive and follow instructions from shift leaders and supervisors.Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the capability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.Understand the need for continuous improvement in the business and adapt to change in workplace practices.Adhere to all Company values, principles and procedures such as WHS requirements.Desired Skills and ExperienceA friendly, positive attitude with a passion for customer service.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Previous experience in a customer-facing role or working with children is a plus, but not essential.
