In this dynamic role, you will showcase your exceptional barista skills and share your catering talents with café style meals at our onsite café.
There may be an opportunity for you to also extend your role by also working as a catering assistant within our Aged Care home.
Your enthusiasm and passion for food services coupled with knowledge in café operations will ensure success in this role!

Provide friendly and efficient service to our cafe customersFood handling and preparationHot beverage preparation including the operation of commercial coffee machineAdministration tasks including operating cash register and EFTPOS, processing of salesCleaning and maintenance of cafe appliances and work areasRefilling fridges or other stock itemsComplying with Workplace Health and Safety policies and proceduresWhat will you bring to the role? Relevant hospitality experience in either café or residential aged care food servicesBarista experienceAbility to multitask and work autonomously when requiredExcellent time managementShow compassion, sensitivity and empathy to elderly customersGood knowledge of food safety (preferable HACCP)Who is Southern Cross Care Queensland?
